  1. We provide an online service whereby you can order medical tests (Products). Each Product requires a testing kit that will be sent to you.
  2. You may only purchase Products from our website if you are at least 18 years old and are providing your own sample(s) for testing. You must register with us and provide certain personal information, including your name, address, gender and date of birth to purchase a test.
  3. Payment must be received in full in cleared funds prior to the processing of your order. Once payment is received, we will confirm our acceptance of your order by sending you a confirmation email ("Acceptance Confirmation"). The contract between us will only be formed on the date we send you the Acceptance Confirmation (the "Contract").
  4. The prices of our Products will be as quoted on our website at the time you submit your order. The prices may change from time to time but these changes will not affect any order you have already placed.
  5. You may pay for Products using your PayPal account or using a debit or credit card (MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Visa Electron, Maestro) through PayPal website secure payments.
  6. After your payment has been processed we will send your testing kit by first class post. LLS will not be responsible for any delay in shipping the order.
  7. The order is valid for 6 (six) months from the date we post the testing kit to you (the "Validity Period"). If we do not receive your sample within the Validity Period your test will expire and you will not be entitled to a refund.
  8. Delivery of a testing kit shall be completed upon our first attempt to deliver it to the address you have provided. The testing kit and sample will be your responsibility from that time until it reaches our partner laboratory for analysis.
  9. If you lose or damage your testing kit, we will send you a replacement kit subject to payment by you of £50.
  10. By purchasing a test and sending a sample to one of our partner laboratories you are giving us and the laboratories your informed consent to perform the tests you have ordered.
  11. You must send collected samples to the laboratory using the pre-paid envelope provided on the day the sample was taken. Failure to do so may lead to deterioration of your sample which could affect the accuracy of your test results. We do not accept responsibility for results that are compromised due to delays in returning samples.
  12. If, for any reason, we are unable to perform a test you have ordered, we will inform you by email. We will refund you the full amount you have paid within 5 working days. A working day is any day other than a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday in England.
  13. Any sample you send (whether it is DBS or salivary sample) to one of our partner laboratories for analysis will be analysed only in relation to the test or tests that you have ordered.
  14. Samples for tests can be collected by you using the self-collection kit we send you after your order has been accepted. Please follow the enclosed instructions carefully and return your sample using the pre-paid envelope provided on the same day it was taken.
  15. Occasionally our partner laboratories are unable to test samples sent to them. This may be because the amount collected is insufficient for full analysis or the sample has deteriorated. If the laboratory cannot test your sample, we will send a second home collection kit to you free-of-charge for you to repeat the process. If this second sample cannot be tested, we will give you the option to cancel the order and request a full refund.
  16. The test results will be uploaded to your secure online account on our website.
  17. We may contact you by post, email or telephone regarding your sample and test results if necessary.
  18. Once we have sent the Acceptance Confirmation you will have 14 days within which to cancel your order. If you cancel your order within this time period, we will deduct £50 from the money you have paid and refund the difference within 5 working days.

  22. We may amend the Terms from time to time.
